Vourvoulos is a small, quiet village located on the north east part of Santorini, about 4 kilometers from the capital Fira. It is amphitheatrically built on a slope that overlooks the east region of the island with the broad plains. The panorama from Vourvoulos is awe-inspiring as its position offers magnificent views to vast vineyards, meadows and shores.

There are some cozy cafes, pool bars with refreshing cocktails and traditional restaurants where fresh fish and delicious local specialties are served. You can stroll on paved paths, admire the Cycladic architecture of the houses and lovely yards and visit the two churches it holds, Agios Efstratios and Agios Panteleimonas.

Sometimes big waves are induced by strong winds. Nevertheless, they own crystal-clear waters, a distinct beauty and provide privacy and tranquility. There is also a small charming harbor where fishing boats anchor.
